Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

RedStacked provides team coordination tools for FIRST Robotics and FIRST Tech Challenge teams, used by coaches, mentors, volunteers, parents and guardians, and student participants. Questions about this policy can be sent to msmithgu@redstacked.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information: name and email address, via Clerk.
• Role and team affiliation, such as parent, coach, team lead, or member.
• Participant registration information submitted by a parent or guardian on behalf of a student, including the name of the student, their team assignment, and guardian contact details.
• Basic usage information needed to operate and secure the platform, such as sign-in timestamps.

3. Information about minors

Many participants on RedStacked are minors. Student information is entered and controlled by a parent or guardian, not by the student directly, and students do not create their own accounts through self-serve registration. A parent or guardian may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their student information at any time by emailing msmithgu@redstacked.com. We do not use student information for direct marketing.

4. How we use information

We use the information we collect to operate team rosters and coordination features, communicate about team activity, maintain account security, and respond to support requests.

5. How we share information

Information is visible to other members of the same team according to their role, for example coaches and team leads can see their roster. We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers necessary to operate the platform, such as hosting and authentication providers, or when required by law.

6. Data retention

Information is retained while an account or team relationship is active. We will delete or anonymize information on request or when an account is closed, subject to any legal retention requirements.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights and choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, or the information of a student you are the parent or guardian of, at any time by contacting us.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
